Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania artist, Wendy L Wolf specializes in the design and creation of commissioned murals, commemorative art story paintings (unique and personalized gifts for family, businesses or organizations), fine art original paintings and prints, and unique licensable images.

Wendy is a self taught artist. She enjoys her freelance career and the variety of artistic opportunities it provides.
All of her art images are original and hand painted. They vary in size from about 100 feet ( a ocean mural) down to approximately 6 square inches. She most often works with vinyl or acrylic paints, creating her unique hand painted images using a time consuming technique of multiple layered color washes, and is fond of adding a playful element to her artwork with hidden images.

Murals
Wendy began her professional freelance artist career as a muralist.
Her first murals were painted in her Lehigh Valley home, and then she decided to "take it to the streets" and self promoted to various businesses for her first commercial jobs.
In her artistic career she has created many hundreds of murals on a wide variety of substrates. The mural themes are as individual as the clients themselves. This mural was created for the rec room of a family who owned a huge salt water tank reef set up. The mural is beautiful on site, it is slicked up with three coats of high gloss archival varnish and glistens like it is wet.

Wendy has created a variety of commemorative artwork for various clientele, from pet portraits, and architectural images to her own unique genre, Story Paintings.

Original Paintings and Prints
Many of Wendy's original paintings are filled with a playful undercurrent of hidden images, and are accompanied by a interesting quotation. These originals invite the viewer to interact personally with the painting on another level, and also offer the opportunity for interaction amongst multiple viewers. Gentle and tranquil with a lot of color, these original images make a beautiful addition to almost any space.
